Two weeks ago, Global Training Aviation (GTA) celebrated the graduation of Flyadeal Batch 5 cadets at its Madrid training centre, marking the successful completion of another important stage in their journey towards becoming airline pilots.
The graduation ceremony represented not only the end of their training programme but also the beginning of a new professional chapter as they prepare to continue their careers in commercial aviation.
Five batches, one shared commitment to excellence
Celebrating a graduation is always a special moment, but welcoming a fifth successful batch from the same airline partner makes the occasion even more meaningful.

Building Airline-Ready skills through A320 training
During their stay in Madrid, the cadets completed an Airbus A320 Type Rating programme designed to prepare pilots for airline operations through a combination of theoretical instruction, procedural training and advanced simulator sessions. The programme combines Airbus systems knowledge, airline-oriented operational procedures and practical training in realistic airline environments.
Throughout the course, the cadets attended classroom-based theoretical training and developed their operational skills through extensive simulator practice. This approach allows pilots to strengthen technical proficiency, situational awareness and decision-making capabilities before beginning airline operations.
A key part of the programme was carried out on GTA’s Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator (FFS) Level D at the Indra simulation centre in Madrid. As the highest level of simulator certification available in the aviation industry, the simulator provides an immersive training environment that accurately replicates real flight operations and airline-standard scenarios.

During the ceremony, Captain Abdulaziz Bahri and Captain Khalid Khan, Head of Training at flyadeal, addressed the graduates and recognised the dedication, discipline and effort they demonstrated throughout their training journey.
