“When I decided to take the next step toward an airline career, I was looking for an organization that could offer not only high-quality training but also the confidence and support needed to face such an important process. From my very first interaction with GTA, I had the feeling that I was in good hands, and that impression was confirmed throughout my entire experience in Madrid.
What impressed me the most was the level of knowledge, experience, and professionalism of the instructors and facilitators. Every session was designed to help us gain a deep understanding of Airbus A320 systems and, more importantly, to develop a mindset focused on real airline operations. The training was demanding, but also extremely rewarding, and each day brought a new opportunity to learn and grow as a pilot.
One of the aspects I value most about GTA is that the support goes far beyond the training itself. As an international student, traveling to another country for a type rating can raise many questions and uncertainties. However, the GTA team supported me throughout the entire process, from documentation and visa procedures to travel arrangements, accommodation, and my adaptation in Spain. Thanks to this, I was able to fully focus on my training and make the most of every phase of the course.
During the two months I spent in Madrid, I felt supported at all times. The personalized attention is something that truly sets GTA apart. Every student receives close and professional follow-up, and I always found someone willing to help whenever I needed it.
I would especially like to thank some individuals who had a significant impact on my experience. Dani was always available to answer my questions and explain every detail related to the course, making the entire process much smoother. Julia played a key role during the initial orientation and documentation process, helping me complete all DGCA requirements quickly and efficiently. Her knowledge of procedures and regulatory requirements made the entire experience extremely smooth.
I would also like to express my gratitude to Captain Vicente and Captain Ángel Herrero, who personally awarded me the Special Mention recognition at the end of the course. Receiving that recognition was a very special moment for me. It was not only a great personal achievement, but it also boosted my confidence and motivated me to keep working toward my professional goals. Just one month after completing my training, I had the opportunity to join an airline and begin my professional career as an airline pilot.
GTA’s facilities, training equipment, and learning environment reflect a true commitment to excellence. Everything is designed to ensure that students can learn, train, and develop their skills under the best possible conditions. In addition, the atmosphere created by instructors, support staff, and fellow cadets makes the overall experience even more positive.
Today, I have the privilege of flying as a First Officer at Air India, and I am convinced that the training I received at GTA was a key part of this achievement. The knowledge, discipline, confidence, and preparation I gained during my Airbus A320 Type Rating continue to support me every day in my role as a pilot.
I am deeply grateful to the entire Global Training Aviation team for helping me reach where I am today. Thank you for believing in me, for pushing me to go beyond my limits, and for supporting me during such an important stage of my career.
Without a doubt, I would recommend GTA to any pilot looking for top-level training and a truly international experience. For me, choosing GTA Madrid was one of the best decisions of my life.”
