Every pilot know that there is a remote posibility that something can go wrong on a flight. In aviation History we found great emergency landings, and here are our nominations of emergency landings.
1 – A300 BAGHDAD
An A300n4-400 cargo plane was struck by a missile at 8,000 feet. The explosion and resulting fire burned away much of the wing’s structure and precipitated a complete failure of the airplane.
The three-man crew made an injury-free landing of the seriously damaged A300, at Baghdad.
2- GIMLI GLIDER
This Boeing ran out of fuelat 41,000 feet, midway through the flight. The crew was able to glide the Boeing 767 aircraft safely to an emergency landing
3- MIRACLE OF THE HUDSON
This A320 struck a flock of birds and lost all engine power. The pilots glided to a ditching in the Hudson River of Manhattan. Al the people of the plane were rescued by boats.
