Jerrie Mock (1925-2014)

Geraldine Mock, known as Jerrie Mock, was the flying housewife. The first women to fly solo arround the world.

She started dreaming to be a pilot when she first went up in an airplane at the age of 7.

She studied to be an aviator at Ohio Statue University, but left her dream when she married and have children.

When her Children grow up, she decided to be the first woman to fly solo arround the world, a dream that Amelia Earhart couldn´t achieve because of her tragic accident.

Mock’s husband encouraged his wife to pursue her dream of flying around the world. Russell, an ad man, knew that endorsement deals from brands could support this dream. At the age of 39 she achieved her dream.
