Enrollment requirements​

FOR EXPERIENCED PILOTS

For pilots that with the ATR-500 experience requirements  (more than 500 hours flown in ATR aircraft, or 100 hours flown in ATR aircraft in the last 12 months).

FOR UNEXPERIENCED PILOTS

For pilots that do NOT comply with the ATR-500 experience requirements (for pilots who do not have at least 500 hours on and ATR aircraft)

GTA Madrid is conveniently located near the airport, with a range of hotels and residential apartments nearby, offering easy access and comfort for all our visitors.

What does a type rating at GTA include?

It includes all the necessary educational materials, as well as a backpack, USB lanyard, and other merchandise. Accommodation and transportation are NOT included.

To secure a spot in the course, an initial deposit is required. The remaining payment must be made at least 14 days before the course starts. Once the payment is completed, 10 days before the course begins, you will receive access to our e-learning platform and CBT.

It is not mandatory; GTA will find one for you, although the course start date will depend on securing a SIM partner.

It is necessary for the course. If you do not have one, GTA can provide a tablet at a reasonable price.

It is not necessary to wear a uniform, but formal attire (business casual) is recommended.
